Jibananda Das and the mystery surrounding his personal life once used to intrigue every Bengali out there. Sayantan Mukherjee’s new film ‘Jhora Palok’ will once again shed light on the chaos and turmoil between the iconic poet’s creative and domestic life. The film which sees Bratya Basu as Jibananda Das and Jaya Ahsan as his wife Labanyaprabha will be screened at the Kolkata International Film Festival on 27th April at Rabindra Sadan and on 1 st May at Nazrul Tirtha.
